VCvF.legal Advises BISON Polymers GmbH on Becoming the First German Manufacturer of Nitrile Gloves
The newly founded company BISON Polymers GmbH, based in Siegen, took over the business operations of the insolvent Brökelmann und Henkel Handschuhwerke GmbH at the end of August 2024 and is seamlessly continuing the development of a nitrile glove manufacturer. The successful acquisition includes the production facility, ongoing operations, and employees.
Going forward, BISON Polymers will be managed by an experienced leadership trio consisting of founder Konrad Henkel and the two entrepreneurs from the Siegerland region, Philipp Markowski and Hans-Christian Kaempfer, who are also the new main shareholders.
"I am very pleased that our new investors have recognized our great potential and that the project and all employees can now look forward to a successful future under BISON Polymers. Together, we are striving not only to successfully establish our factory and gain a foothold in the market, but also to implement our ambitious expansion plans," says Konrad Henkel.
The project, launched in 2022, aims to be the first German manufacturer and an innovative pioneer in the development and production of nitrile gloves. The self-developed production facilities are among the most modern of their kind. In an era of globally endangered supply chains, the company is thus an essential partner for the German and European industrial and healthcare sectors. The latter, in particular, relies not only during pandemics on quality and delivery reliability – especially when it comes to critical goods such as examination gloves.
